Natasha Varma is a Registered Provisional Psychologist and a Canadian Certified Counsellor with over five years of diverse counselling experiences. She holds a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Victoria and is a member of the following associations:

Natasha integrates her strong academic background with her own personal life experiences to understand and relate to clients from all walks of life. She utilizes her warm and compassionate presence in the counselling relationship to empower clients to understand themselves, and grow in their ability to cope with and respond to life’s challenges.
Natasha strongly believes in turning adversity and challenges into opportunities for personal growth and development. She works to challenge clients to expand their minds, discover their potential, and come to a deeper understanding of self.
Natasha predominately works from an Interpersonal Process, Solution-Focused, Cognitive Behavioural, and Mindfulness approaches and focuses on establishing an open, safe, trusting and collaborative relationship with her clients. This relationship serves as the foundation for client insight, understanding, and change. Presently, she works with adults and offers both individual and group therapy for a wide range of issues including: relational issues, trauma, sexual and domestic abuse, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, stress, and spiritual and existential concerns. In addition, Natasha’s services also includes working with couples and families and she also utilizes Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing in her work.
Apart from her work, Natasha also continually engages in her own personal development and growth. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing basketball, listening to music, and reading.
