Samantha Gascon is a Canadian Certified Counsellor and a Registered Social Worker. She has completed a Master of Science in Psychology degree through Grand Canyon University and a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California. Samantha is a member of the following associations:
Samantha works from a strengths-based approach and seeks to assist clients and empower them. She honours and respects people’s ability to decide for themselves and is invested in helping support and guide clients to learn new skills to improve their quality of life. Samantha is flexible and collaborative in her therapeutic approach, and she works hard to provide an open and inviting environment in which clients can express themselves freely and openly. Samantha understands that treatment requires to be individualized to the needs of the client. She has worked with adults on various issues including: depression, anxiety, stress, domestic abuse, eating disorders, self-harm, suicidality, and trauma. She has utilized Cognitive Behavioural, Problem-Solving Therapies, Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing in order to facilitate an environment that promotes change.
Samantha’s greatest joys are her family, friends and pets. Her favorite hobbies include watching Los Angeles Kings hockey and Red Sox baseball, and gaming on PlayStation.
